Let's get together!

Yay! We all finally scheduled some time to meet together and take a group pic! What do you think? I think we make a beautiful group of prince repellers!

Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah.
Why don't you and I combine?
Let's get together, what do you say?
We can have a swinging time.
We'd be a crazy team.
Why don't we make a scene? Together.

oh, oh, oh, oh
Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah.
Think of all that we could share.
Let's get together, everyday
Every way and everywhere.
And though we haven't got a lot,
We could be sharing all we've got. Together
.

"I am the lost Princess, aren't I?"

I guess you can call me an internet junkie. I love my reditt and tumblr with all my internet self-loating heart. As you can see I don't get out much..

The internet...has forever changed my life (Thank you Leonard Kleinrock! <3) I finally convinced my mom that i needed to get connection for schoolwork...she probably gave in because it was the only thing that keeps me distracted enough from going outside...which we all know will never happen ugh. The downside? She's got all the fun sites blocked and an hour time limit! >:[ Sometimes, on a good day, I can connect to some free wifi around the neighborhood and surf on the good stuff...like this blogger!

According to mom, my home school is located in a pretty bad area. She claims home school is my best option...I don't buy it though. My favorite subject is astronomy (I'm a Taurus, in case you were wondering)...I love painting my own charted maps around the room; my favorite is the most current project I'm working on...a  sun emblem! I've also been studying healing powers recently and dream of someday working with genetic alterations and physical distortions of biological functions. I just want to fight diseases and aging!

I've been working really hard to get accepted somewhere far away from here for university...I want to explore the world and see what's behind these four walls! I guess until then, I'll have my tumblr feed to admire all the eye candy I'm missing out on :\. Crap, I hear my mom calling--got to sign off! Until next time bloggers!

I was beginnin' to think that wishin' on stars was just for babies and...crazy people.

~Most people see the glory, but they never know the story~

Pops always told me to reach for my dreams, but only half of it is wishing! You still got to work hard for them. AMEN! Success don't come easy, or as they say "overnight."

My pops always wanted to own his own restaurant, and that is one dream I am trying to achieve right now. I believe I am far from a basic cook and can cook up a mean Mama Odie Gumbo. When I say mean, it's like people are always thirsty coming back for more!  If y'all are nice maybe I will invite y'all over! I said MAYBE, don't get crazy!

One of my favorite girls out in here NOLA is La Bouff. Hey boo, I know you are reading this! She has been one of my closest friends and always pushed me to chase my dreams. We also share closets and always have each others backs. I am wearing your green Valentino top right now! Hehe, I think I want to keep it...it looks cuter on me ;) La Bouff is the one that always encourages me to be myself. As you may know, my style is wicked but others probably think its "weird." But thats my style and I don't want to change for anyone! With that said, my other dream is to be a successful female rapper! Yup! Living in New Orleans, I have been around amazing jazz, R&B, and blues/soul all my life and always appreciated it. It is my dream to perform in front of thousands of people. One day yall! One day!

Here is a quick rap I just wrote for this entry, I hope you dig it!

Wake up, Wake up!! /Time to get out of bed/ Make that breakfast, get ahead/ We got the style/ We so wild/ Independent, don't need to walk the aisle/ We call ourselves prince repellers/ Look who be on list of bestsellers/ Get on our levels/

I'll leave y'all with some fashion and cooking tips!

1) Wear clothes that fit your body ladies! Trust me, ain't nobody want to see you in a size 0 if you're a size 6. And ain't nothing wrong with being a size 6. Just wear your size!

2) Don't use cheap Olive Oil. We can taste it...and it doesn't taste good.

3) Be creative! If no one's done it before, take a risk and try it! Haters are your motivators!

Love,
Tiana *muah*

No matter what the species, men are men..

Hello everyone! Yup, its Jasmine blogging from Agrabah! You probably know me from the show “Addicted to the Agrabahs” and how crazy my character is portrayed on there. Trust me I am not that crazy! A lot went down in season two, especially with my dad trying to get me to marry that one loser Zayn Malik. Like seriously? I know my dad comes from a traditional background but I am only 16! That is just silly. I have so much to learn and the last thing on my mind is to marry someone, especially some stuck up kid from a boy band. No offense everyone, but that really isn’t my type. I can’t wait till I turn 18 so I can move out of this house. Don’t get me wrong, I love living in Agra, India and being blessed with such a big palace and having our TV show, but I want to live a normal life too! I want to experience things like other teenage girls experience, like going to prom, having slumber parties and just hanging out at the mall. It’s so tough having cameras on you 24/7 and security guards following you. I feel like I have no true friends :(

Anyway, I have a lot of cool things coming up this summer. We are currently wrapping up season 3 of our show and after that I start filming for a new Bollywood movie! I am so excited because this will be a great stepping stone for me to get into the acting industry! Can’t wait to update you once we are on set! Hmm…what else? I am also starting up a new fashion line of shoes which is totally exciting! It will launch in December, just in time for Christmas!  Alright I have to get going my friends! Rajah, my pet tiger, is getting bored of me typing and wants me to go play with him!

I want adventure...

Charlotte Bronte once said, “I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will.”

Often times us princesses get a bad rep of relying on men and our journeys end when we get married. I disagree and want to express to you that you don’t need to live a life chasing after prince charming to be content. We are powerful, daring, hard working and should let no men make us feel incompetent!

I live in a small village in France where people think I am quite unusual because I rather read a book on a Friday night then go get my nails done with my girlfriends. I believe beauty comes from within and you shouldn’t worry so much about outer appearances; wear what you feel comfortable in and don't care what people think--especially men. Don’t get me started on the men here. There’s this douche bag (sorry for the language) named Gaston and I cannot stand him. He is the epitome of the typical close minded man. Get this, his ideal marriage is to have several good looking sons with him, massage his feet, cook his dinner, clean the floors and the worst of it all, no reading because he thinks intelligent women don’t exist! Kill me now!  Below is a conversation I had with him the other day. No joke.

Gaston: How can you read this? There's no pictures!
Me: Well, some people use their imagination.

Why can’t there be decent men around here? Sorry for venting but I think I am going to go back to reading to get my mind off things ;) I will leave you with a list of books I am currently into. Also if you are reading any of them please comment below on your thoughts and reactions to it! Would love to discuss.

Beach girl with city dreams

Hi everyone it's Ariel :) First blog entries are always kind of awkward because there is never a simple way to jump right into a conversation. It's kind of like attending a party alone. You have to just dive right into a conversation and introduce yourself!

I am 16 years old living in a small beach town with my Dad and 6 other sisters. Yes, I am the youngest! I attend high school in La Jolla, California. I enjoy singing and am very active in our show choir. We will be traveling to London in September for our first international competition! Very excited about that! I have never been! I am really stoked to see all the museums and architecture there as well. Did I mention that I love art? I enjoy helping daddy curate pieces for our house and the gallery he owns. We have an amazing collection with beautiful works like Salvador Dali and Picasso!

I've always felt out of place in this small beach town...I just never fit in with the locals. Everyone's all about shopping and going to parties, but the whole laying out on the beach all day and attending fancy shindigs at night is not my thing! I hope to one day open up my own art museum in New York. Shh...my dad doesn't know about that just yet! Don't get me wrong, I love living right next to the water and being able to attend fun art gallery openings here, but I just don't feel connected to anyone. No one seems to really understand my passion for art. That's why I hope this blog can help me express myself  and I can make some new friends here!

Favorite artists:
Warhol
Roy Lichtenstein
Sofonisba Anguissola
Richard Phillips
Frida Kahlo

My outfit is dipped in Chanel! I love that Karl! His work is literally a piece of art! Love his creative energy.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

Aurora is the name but you should really call me Briar Rose.

I adore the sun. The sun is my everything. There is something mystifying about being alone outdoors and completely shutting your eyes. As the sun hits my eyelids, I can feel being one with nature. Inspiration comes pouring inside to my body and soul.

Tribes. I believe everyone should have a strong tribe. Mine consists of Flora, Fauna and Merryweather who have been with me since the day I was born. Without them, I would not be the girl I am today.

I enjoy making music, writing poetry and attending music festivals.  I have met the greatest kinds of people at these festivals. People are so intriguing. I love hearing their stories and where they came from.
I find freedom in making music and beauty in expressing yourself through instruments.

I am free, daring, enjoy traveling, and pushing life to its limits.

Here is what I wore to my friends show I attended last week:

White Dress: Nasty Gal
Dip Dye Lace Robe: Free People
Rose Cuff: Urban Outfitters
Black Boots: Revolve Clothing
Floral Crown: Hand picked from my beautiful lush garden

I am going to leave you with a poem inspired by my dream last night.

Dark dreams…
an enchanted rose
falls onto my lips.

Cinderella dressed in...

My first blog entry for Prince Repeller is finally here! As some of my close friends understand, I am quite the perfectionist. I've wanted my first blog post to be incredibly pretty but also beneficial to our readers. Goodness, I hope I can accomplish both! Feel free to provide some constructive criticism on my blogging skills; I am always open for suggestions and advice.

We had an extensive winter here in France and I am thrilled for it to warm up a bit. I am very fond of this season due to the fact we always get visitors from all over the world. I get to encounter some of my relatives and friends I have not seen all year!  But most importantly, it means that I get to try new recipes and get to remodel the house a bit! This summer I have plans to reupholster the furniture in my stepmother’s bedroom. I found the perfect fabric from Marché Saint Pierre. They have a boundless selection of prints and excellent service! Her room is currently filled with deep purples and maroons and I want to lighten it up for the summer.

I was also lucky enough to grab some scraps in the clearance section and made a maxi skirt for myself tonight. I posted a picture below! What do you think?

Today I am making Chicken Fricassee with Tarragon for one of our cousins arriving from Rome. It is one of my favorites to make. I am also trying a new dessert called Apricot Almost Clafouti I found on Pinterest, I am hoping it turns out wonderful! Well friends, I hope you enjoyed my post; I now have to fetch some last minute supplies for dinner tonight. Have a splendid week!

P.S: Word around the house is that my cousin is bringing a man friend ;) Not that I am in need of someone right now, but flirting couldn't hurt right?

Once there was a Princess

Hello world!

This is my very first post! My name is Show White and I am 14 years old. I have multiple nicknames too! One you probably know of is Sneewittchen! I love nicknames but they have to be nice okay? No name calling here! I am a big animal lover and heavily involved in the Nature Conservancy Program. We work super hard to protect ecologically lands and waters for nature and people! Right now, I'm working on a new project with the rainforest animals in Central America. The animals I love focusing my attention on are chipmunks and deer ;) they're so easy to talk to and super helpful! I guess I am going to have to let you in on a little secret...I can talk to animals! It is a special talent of mine that I will dive more into on my other blog entries!

So what is a prince repeller?

-noun

putting oneself in a very offensive outfit that may result in repelling potential suitors. Such pieces of garments and styles would be fluffy tulle ball gowns, glass slippers, bright red headbands and 70 foot long hair.

-verb

Snow White: Are you really going to be attending the party tonight with those glass slippers and arrive in that funky looking pumpkin car?

Cinderella: Yeah, I have no other choice :(

Snow White: Mhm, girl you are going to be prince repelling for sure!

Why start this blog?

I have a tough time trying to explain my problems and outfits. I always seem to scare off people, especially boys for some reason. I wasn't sure why until my good friend Grumpy suggested a reason. Yeah, his name is Grumpy! He said maybe it was because of the crazy clothes my friends and I wear! I guess we seem a bit scary with our evil "step mom" stories and ball gowns we walk around in. So I made this blog to show my "repelling"outfits and stories. Hopefully my fellow "repellers" can relate.

I also will be collaborating with some of my close friends on here! We will talk about great skin tips, what to wear to parties, marriage/relationship advice and much much more! Okay enough about me and more about what I am wearing in today's blog post!
