No matter what the species, men are men..

Hello everyone! Yup, its Jasmine blogging from Agrabah! You probably know me from the show “Addicted to the Agrabahs” and how crazy my character is portrayed on there. Trust me I am not that crazy! A lot went down in season two, especially with my dad trying to get me to marry that one loser Zayn Malik. Like seriously? I know my dad comes from a traditional background but I am only 16! That is just silly. I have so much to learn and the last thing on my mind is to marry someone, especially some stuck up kid from a boy band. No offense everyone, but that really isn’t my type. I can’t wait till I turn 18 so I can move out of this house. Don’t get me wrong, I love living in Agra, India and being blessed with such a big palace and having our TV show, but I want to live a normal life too! I want to experience things like other teenage girls experience, like going to prom, having slumber parties and just hanging out at the mall. It’s so tough having cameras on you 24/7 and security guards following you. I feel like I have no true friends :(

Anyway, I have a lot of cool things coming up this summer. We are currently wrapping up season 3 of our show and after that I start filming for a new Bollywood movie! I am so excited because this will be a great stepping stone for me to get into the acting industry! Can’t wait to update you once we are on set! Hmm…what else? I am also starting up a new fashion line of shoes which is totally exciting! It will launch in December, just in time for Christmas!  Alright I have to get going my friends! Rajah, my pet tiger, is getting bored of me typing and wants me to go play with him!

I want adventure...

Charlotte Bronte once said, “I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will.”

Often times us princesses get a bad rep of relying on men and our journeys end when we get married. I disagree and want to express to you that you don’t need to live a life chasing after prince charming to be content. We are powerful, daring, hard working and should let no men make us feel incompetent!

I live in a small village in France where people think I am quite unusual because I rather read a book on a Friday night then go get my nails done with my girlfriends. I believe beauty comes from within and you shouldn’t worry so much about outer appearances; wear what you feel comfortable in and don't care what people think--especially men. Don’t get me started on the men here. There’s this douche bag (sorry for the language) named Gaston and I cannot stand him. He is the epitome of the typical close minded man. Get this, his ideal marriage is to have several good looking sons with him, massage his feet, cook his dinner, clean the floors and the worst of it all, no reading because he thinks intelligent women don’t exist! Kill me now!  Below is a conversation I had with him the other day. No joke.

Gaston: How can you read this? There's no pictures!
Me: Well, some people use their imagination.

Why can’t there be decent men around here? Sorry for venting but I think I am going to go back to reading to get my mind off things ;) I will leave you with a list of books I am currently into. Also if you are reading any of them please comment below on your thoughts and reactions to it! Would love to discuss.

Beach girl with city dreams

Hi everyone it's Ariel :) First blog entries are always kind of awkward because there is never a simple way to jump right into a conversation. It's kind of like attending a party alone. You have to just dive right into a conversation and introduce yourself!

I am 16 years old living in a small beach town with my Dad and 6 other sisters. Yes, I am the youngest! I attend high school in La Jolla, California. I enjoy singing and am very active in our show choir. We will be traveling to London in September for our first international competition! Very excited about that! I have never been! I am really stoked to see all the museums and architecture there as well. Did I mention that I love art? I enjoy helping daddy curate pieces for our house and the gallery he owns. We have an amazing collection with beautiful works like Salvador Dali and Picasso!

I've always felt out of place in this small beach town...I just never fit in with the locals. Everyone's all about shopping and going to parties, but the whole laying out on the beach all day and attending fancy shindigs at night is not my thing! I hope to one day open up my own art museum in New York. Shh...my dad doesn't know about that just yet! Don't get me wrong, I love living right next to the water and being able to attend fun art gallery openings here, but I just don't feel connected to anyone. No one seems to really understand my passion for art. That's why I hope this blog can help me express myself  and I can make some new friends here!

My outfit is dipped in Chanel! I love that Karl! His work is literally a piece of art! Love his creative energy.
